There's Always Something Ahead

No two months at Troop 4110 look exactly alike. Our year combines regular Thursday meetings with campouts, outdoor adventures, competitions, service projects, educational outings, family activities, and special events.

Adventure With a Purpose

Trail Life is meant to be experienced. Throughout the year, Troop 4110 gets boys outside, challenges them to try new things, gives them opportunities to serve and lead, and creates experiences they'll remember for years.

Camping

We generally hold four full-troop campouts each year, giving boys opportunities to practice outdoor skills, take responsibility, work together, and spend meaningful time with fathers, leaders, and other Trailmen.

Hiking & Backpacking

From local trails to bigger mountain adventures, hiking teaches preparation, perseverance, teamwork, and the satisfaction of reaching a goal one step at a time.

Rafting & Water Adventures

Activities like Kings River rafting and Beach Day bring a different kind of adventure and plenty of opportunities for teamwork and fun.

Building & Competition

Events like the Pinewood Derby challenge boys to design, build, experiment, solve problems, compete well, and learn from both success and failure.

Service

Trailmen have opportunities to serve their church and community through activities such as Memorial Day flag planting, community service projects, and service at Grace Baptist Church.

Exploring & Learning

Not every adventure happens in the wilderness. Trips to places such as the California Science Center and Griffith Observatory give boys opportunities to explore science, history, technology, and the world around them.
