Can parents stay and observe a meeting?

Yes, especially when your family is visiting the troop. We encourage you to meet leaders, see how the program works, and ask questions. Reaching out before your visit helps us make sure someone is available to welcome you.

Are regular Thursday meetings family events?

Families are always welcome to come in, particularly when visiting or when they need to speak with leaders. Regular meetings are primarily structured around the boys’ program, so it is helpful to reach out ahead of time when visiting so a leader can make time to meet you.

How long are meetings?

Regular Thursday meetings generally run from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Special events or activities may have different times and will be listed in Trail Life Connect.

Why isn’t there a meeting every Thursday?

We generally do not meet on the Thursday immediately before a campout or when there is a major Saturday troop activity. Holidays and the reduced summer schedule can also affect meetings. We meet throughout most of the year, but not every Thursday. We generally don't meet on the Thursday immediately before a troop campout or when there is a major Saturday activity. We also take a summer break and meet only a few times during the summer.

Can we visit Troop 4110 before joining?

Absolutely. Visiting a meeting is the best way to see whether Troop 4110 is a good fit for your son and family.
