What does “Walk Worthy” mean?
“Walk Worthy” is Trail Life USA’s motto, drawn from Colossians 1:10. It expresses the desire that Trailmen live lives that honor God in their character, choices, relationships, leadership, and service.
How is faith incorporated into meetings and activities?
Faith is integrated through biblical teaching, devotionals, prayer, relationships with Christian adults, service, and conversations that connect real experiences to biblical truth. It is not treated as an unrelated add-on to an outdoor program.
What will my son be taught about Christianity?
Boys are taught biblical principles consistent with Trail Life USA and Grace Baptist Church. Teaching emphasizes knowing and following Christ and applies Scripture to character, leadership, service, relationships, responsibility, and everyday decisions.
Does our family have to sign a Statement of Faith?
Families are not required to sign Grace Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith simply for a boy to participate. Adults seeking Registered Adult roles have separate Trail Life USA membership and faith requirements.
Does my son have to be a Christian?
No. A boy does not have to already identify as Christian to participate. Families should understand, however, that Troop 4110 is a Christ-centered ministry and boys will receive biblical teaching consistent with Trail Life USA and Grace Baptist Church.
Is Troop 4110 part of Grace Baptist Church?
Yes. Troop 4110 is a ministry of Grace Baptist Church of Santa Clarita. The troop meets on the GBC campus and its ministry is consistent with the church’s biblical convictions and Statement of Faith.

However, families should understand that Troop 4110 is a Christ-centered ministry of Grace Baptist Church of Santa Clarita. Christian faith is an intentional and foundational part of our program, not simply something added to outdoor activities.
Boys will learn biblical principles and be encouraged to grow in character and faith through teaching, relationships, service, adventure, and the example of Christian adult leaders. Our teaching is consistent with the beliefs and Statement of Faith of Grace Baptist Church and Trail Life USA.
