What is a Servant Leadership Project?
A Servant Leadership Project is a leadership project required for the Freedom Award. It asks an older Trailman to demonstrate the skills and ideals learned in the troop by serving others. Current project expectations come from troop leaders and Trail Life USA’s official Freedom Award requirements.
What kinds of adventures does Troop 4110 do?
Activities vary by year and have included campouts, hiking, rafting, Beach Day, Pinewood Derby, River Rally, service projects, Memorial Day flag planting, educational outings, Courts of Honor, and family events. Check Trail Life Connect for this year’s schedule. The downloadable calendar on this website is not necessarily up to date.
Are service hours required?
Tracked service-hour requirements apply to the older-boy program rather than Woodland Trails. Navigators and Adventurers should follow the current requirements for their advancement level and talk with leaders about qualifying service.
