No. Troop 4110 operates on a volunteer basis, and no special outdoor or program knowledge is required to start helping. Training is available so you can become comfortable in the role you take on. A leader can help you find a fit, whether that is most weeks, one week a month, or help with particular activities.

Is Youth Protection Training required?

Yes. Registered Adults complete Trail Life USA’s required Youth Protection Training and must remain compliant with the organization’s current youth-safety requirements.

How are adult leaders approved?

Adult involvement in formal Trail Life roles begins with local troop leadership. Prospective Registered Adults complete Trail Life USA’s current membership, screening, training, and role requirements before serving in positions that require registration.

How do I become a Registered Adult?
